On Monday morning, department head Ralf Wagener welcomed the newly arrived students, who will now take to the streets in uniform to gain practical experience of police work.
After a few introductory words from him and Police Chief Superintendent Marc Meiners, who sometimes takes care of the students' affairs at the authority, the Märkische Kreis was highlighted in various facets and an insight was provided.
As deputy staff council member, Michael Kaufhold also took the floor and looked with great confidence at the new faces before getting to know them personally. The speakers were particularly proud that 60 students had been given the opportunity to work in the MK. Marc Meiners therefore expressed his special thanks to all the organizational units involved. The students will gain an insight into the various areas of the police force - whether recording accidents, securing crime scenes or catching criminals.
After the students received their new service cards and had to complete a few formalities, they were warmly welcomed by some of their future tutors and department heads.
We look forward to welcoming the students to the district and accompanying them on their journey!
