At 2:52 a.m. on July 27 (Sunday), three male perpetrators forced their way into a tobacco store on Roermonder Straße. According to initial findings, they stole the cash register and various tobacco products. The men then fled in a car in the direction of the Netherlands.
One of the three men was dressed in dark clothing with reflectors on his outer clothing and ankles, a hat, scarf, dark gloves and dark shoes. He was carrying a sports bag. Another suspect had a beard, a light-colored jacket with a hood, dark jogging pants with a light-colored stripe down the side, dark gloves and light-colored shoes. The third man was wearing dark trousers, dark outerwear with a hood and reflectors on his upper arms and left chest, dark gloves and dark shoes with light-colored appliqués.
The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information on the identity of the men or who may have observed something in connection with the incident.
